My experience at this resort was truly one-of-a-kind, allowing me to soak in the real essence of Italy far from the tourist crowds. The staff were truly exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The charming accommodations and the culinary surprises, especially from Chef Roberto, were delightful. A few challenges with my parents’ room and the hilly surroundings made access difficult at times, but overall, it was a rewarding experience.

Rooms

Our one-bedroom unit was stunning, with a patio and incredible views of the valley and castle. However, the room my parents had was quite plain and lacked a patio or view, which was disappointing for them.
Service

The service was phenomenal, not just from the manager Antonella but all staff members were proactive and attentive to our needs.
Location

Located in a quaint hill town, it was a bit challenging to navigate but provided a peaceful retreat and was an excellent base for exploring other charming hill towns nearby.

This hotel provides a unique Italian experience nestled in a quaint and beautiful town. The rooms are spacious and offer delightful views, but be prepared for the hilly and challenging access. The culinary experiences are exceptional, especially with Chef Roberto at the helm, although the dining hours could be improved. Overall, it's a charming place to stay, but the steep climbs might not be for everyone.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious and offered stunning views of the castle, but noise from the fridge and adjacent rooms was an issue.

I had a charming stay at this hotel, set in the heart of a picturesque town with plenty to explore nearby. The ambiance was delightful, especially with the lovely garden views of the castle that lit up at night. Unfortunately, I did face some issues with the hot water, which hindered what could have been a perfect experience. Overall, it was a memorable visit with great potential, but a few tweaks to the facilities would boost the overall experience significantly.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were unique and beautifully decorated, reflecting the character of the historic building. However, some rooms appeared less historical than I expected based on the pictures.
Service
6.0
While the staff were friendly, I found their response to the hot water issue less than satisfactory. It was disheartening that they didn’t resolve the problem more proactively.
Location
8.0
The hotel is situated in a quaint town that offers a genuine Italian experience, although it’s worth noting the steep and narrow lane could be challenging for those not in good physical shape.
Dining
8.0
The in-house dining was enjoyable, and I appreciated the culinary offerings, especially with a talented chef steering the restaurant.
Facilities
7.0
While the hotel possessed a charm with its historic architecture, I hope they will consider adding an elevator in the future, as the lack of it limits accessibility significantly.

My stay at the hotel was truly a memorable experience, filled with engaging activities and a sense of authentic Italian charm. The accommodations were spacious and uniquely decorated, though I noticed some rooms lacked air conditioning, which could be a bit uncomfortable during warmer months. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring nearby towns and attractions, and the culinary events led by Chef Roberto were delightful. I would appreciate a breakfast option to enhance my stay further; it’s a little inconvenient that breakfast isn't served on-site.

My stay was truly remarkable, marked by the unique charm of the hotel and the extraordinary service provided by the staff. Although the absence of a pool was a slight downside, the engaging activities and captivating local culture more than made up for it. The room's character and breathtaking views were certainly highlights of my experience.

Rooms
